In 1298 Hajari Shamsi, corresponding with 1916 AD, one of the original experts in the field of confectionary making in Yazd which in their time were the best, by constructing a small workshop in Haji Ghambar Bazaar, an establishment that today goes by the name of Haji Khalifeh Ali Rahbar Partners Confectioners Institution renowned throughout the world. This huge expert (Khalifeh) with experience and specialists and by using the best natural ingredients throughout its period of activity has been successful by producing unequelled quality confectionary, to make the name of the ancient city of Yazd synonymous with its own products throughout the world. Also the departed Haji Morteza Shirinisaz and Haji Hassan Ferdossian were partners who worked alongside Haji Khalifeh from the beginning of establishment and now their children and grandchildren have continued in their footsteps in the excellent manner.
